On this article I'll show you how to use all the benefits of One Signal to improve your sales, by sending instant push notifications to all the customer that have your Apps downloaded in their devices, look for analytics in One Signal Dashboard & much more.

Create your One Signal Account

The first aspect that you need to start making good marketing with One Signal is the creation of your Account, go in this link https://onesignal.com/ click on Sign Up and start the following process.

Start with one App

On One Signal Dashboard, you will find a button where you can add a new App, click on it, set up a name and we can start the creation of your credentials and all the aspects to cover.

Start with Android Set up

When you click on the button, One Signal with show you a new window with some options, the one that we are going to start with is Goole Android (GCM).

Now in the following screen once you click on it 2 fields will show up, which have to be files with the Google Server API Key & Google Project Number, on this link you will learn how to do this changes https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/generate-a-google-server-api-key

Select the Phonegap, Cordova, Ionic, Intel XDK.

After the last setting is selected, One Signal will show you your App ID of your App, you can close this window and proceed with the iOS one.

Start with IOS Set up

Click on the iOS Option in your Settings inside One Signal Dashboard.

Now in the following screen one field will show up to select the .p12 Certificate, after you get the Certificate, you have to add the Sandbox Certificate also.

Once you have the Productions files, you will get the Push Notifications activated on the App you selected.

Setting the One Signal Keys in your Editor & Builder

Be sure to get your Api Keys, they are under Key & IDs, inside of settings.

Once you got them, let's go inside your Ordering Editor first.

  • Go to Admin Area > Settings > Integrations Settings and fill up all the Push API fields

  • Once they are added, let's continue to the Ordering Builder and Add the ONESIGNAL APP ID in the field that says Onesignal ID

Also, you need to paste the "Firebase Sender ID" on the builder "Google cloud Message ID" field,

The first thing you should do is log in to your website with your Super Admin account. Once you logged, you have to select "More" from the dropdown list that appears.

In the settings screen select the "Integrations" option and click on "Push notifications" to complete the configuration to your OneSignal notifications.

On the pop up that shows you need to paste your "OneSignal User Auth" and "OneSignal App ID".

Get "OneSignal User Auth"

To get your "OneSignal User Auth"  click on "Account & API Keys".

Paste the "Auth Key" on the "OneSignal User Auth" field.

To complete the configuration to the push notification on your OneSignal Account go to "Settings" and click on "Keys & IDs" option and paste this key on App ID field.

After this set ups are done, all you need to do is built the App with the latest version and the new One Signal Credentials, and you can start testing the Apps 👍 Have fun.
